Casona 59 is a design lovers oasis in bustling historic Merida Centro.
Enter through the palm filled front garden into a design lovers paradise.
Be enchanted by the original mamposteria (stone) walls, soaring 17-foot ceilings and original pasta tile floors. In traditional Yucatecan style, the house is built around a central courtyard complete with flowering trees and a fountain.
Both king-sized bedrooms feature antique doors that open directly onto the courtyard (with its screened-in roof). You can sleep with the doors wide open and let the fountain lull you to sleep. It feels truly magical waking up to a warm breeze on your face.
Enjoy high thread count sheets, pillow top mattresses, luxury bamboo & cooling pillows, super soft towels and artisanal soap & shampoo.
Each of the eleven rooms has been beautifully restored while retaining the feel of a polished past. Wander. Play. Dream.

1. Check in takes place after 3pm. Check out takes place before 11am. Times can be adjusted.
2. Electricity is not included. The cost of the kilowatt is $3.5 MXN.
3. Minimum stay of 3 nights.
